Nike SB "J-Pack" Dunks and May Shoes

by Steph McGilvra on May 05, 2014

Our shipment of the Nike SB "J-Pack" Dunks arrived today. We have both the Lows and the Highs. Any Jordan fan will easily recognize the color ups on these shoes as an homage to the classic Jordan 1s. Both shoes feature a combination of supple pebbled leather and buttery suede. The High also has a translucent outsole. Other shoes from this shipment include the Wolf Grey/White-Gum Bruin Premium, and a Black full grain Janoski with a Green fade swoosh. All 4 shoes are out on the floor and ready to go.

Nike SB "Hacky Sack" Dunk High Premium

by Steph McGilvra on May 02, 2014

The third and final shoe in the trio of "Hacky Sack" themed releases arrived today. This shoe features the same "Hacky Sack" inspired pattern on the toe box and side panels as seen on the Janoski and Dunk low. Instead of a white midsole it features a light gum color with darker gum outsole tread. The upper also showcases more of the help-like material around the collar that was seen on the Janoski, tying the entire shoe together nicely. These will be available for purchase Saturday May 3rd at 11am. First come, first serve.

by Steph McGilvra on April 23, 2014

This Saturday, April 26th at 11am we will be releasing the Nike SB "Hacky Sack" Dunk Low Premium on a first come first serve basis. This shoe is a continuation of the theme we saw with the Janoski release from the previous weekend. Printed canvas reminiscent of a "Hacky Sack" with black suede around the toe box and a leather swoosh. Check out the pics below.

Stay Tuned for release details for the 3rd installment of the pack, a "Hacky sack" Dunk High Premium, hopefully released in the next week or two.

Nike April Shoes+QS

by Peat Bakke on April 17, 2014

Our shoes for April were late arriving but they are finally here. First up we have a Dunk Low Premium "Giraffe".  It features Black suede with Giraffe print side panels and toe.

Second we have an Eric Koston 2 LR in Black/Turbo Green-Anthricite. This is a new offering based on the Koston 2 silhouette, but featuring a vulcanized style outsole with the lunarlon insole the Kostons have become known for. Better board feel and slightly lower profile. Plus the canvas on the side panels provides a bit more breathability.

Our First Quick Strike of the Month will be released on Saturday April 19th at 11am. This shoe is the Stefan Janoski premium "Hacky Sack". This shoe features a canvas upper with a "Hacky Sack" print. The collar has a white canvas Hemp-like look. These are sure to bring back fond memories for some people of games of Hacky Sack during lunch periods at school.

Be sure to be on the look out for our upcoming release of the "Hacky Sack" Dunk Low and Dunk High on April 26th! Pictures of those will be posted next week.

Nike SB Rival Pack

by Steph McGilvra on March 21, 2014

March Madness is upon us and Nike SB has some Dunk High Premiums to help get you in the spirit! The Nike SB "Rival" pack is comprised of a clean University Blue and White Dunk High that sports the team colors of the North Carolina Tar Heels. Blue leather and white patent leather help separate this dunk from the rest. The Obisdian and Wolf Grey Dunk High is a reference to the Terminator Highs that the Georgetown Hoyas wore back in the late 80's and staying true to that influence, it is made of leather. Pick your favorite or go for the whole pack, and break those team loyalties, either way you'll be happy.

We are releasing these on Saturday march 22nd at 11am. First come first served.

Atlas Trucks

by Steph McGilvra on March 20, 2014

Our order of the first round of Atlas Trucks arrived today. We are really excited to finally get them! Atlas has developed one of the best thought out cast reverse king pin trucks we have seen in quite some time. They feature forged baseplates so they are designed to be stronger than the average cast truck. A 10mm axel in the hanger that is machined down to 8mm, so it's stronger than other 8mm axels. A large ball pivot to make turns exceptionally smooth. And something that is unique: a pivot cup that has patent pending technology that is designed to allow you to be able to remove the cup with ease by threading one of your axles into the specifically designed section at the bottom. It's truly ingenious! What is most impressive about these trucks is that all of those features are packed into a very reasonably priced package-only about 10 dollars more than the average set of trucks! Completely worth it in our opinion. Below are some pictures of the tapered axel and the pivot cup design and extraction. Check the colors we have out on our site, or better yet, stop on in and have a look at the shop.

Air Jordan 1 X Nike SB QS

by Steph McGilvra on March 12, 2014

This release is a long time coming. Back in 1985 Nike sent some promo pairs of the Air Jordan I to the guys at Powell - Peralta because they had heard some of the team didn't have shoes to skate that weren't falling apart or duct taped together. It was a rough time in skateboarding as many shoe companies were struggling, so many of sponsored team guys suffered as well. The movie in production was Future Primitive. The scenes with all skaters except Tony Hawk wearing Jordan's were insane! Not only was the skating unbelievable but to see so many guys all wearing and SKATING Air Jordan's definitely caused some controversy in the skateboarding community!

Flash forward to the present day and Jordan Brand and Skateboarding are together again! Drawing from Craig Stecyk's connection to the skate world as Powell -Peralta's long time art director, these shoes are legit, with a ton of detail tying back to Stecyk's copper and spray paint art. This Jordan 1 has just the right amount of detail to make it unique without going too far. The pics show a few of the subtle accents that put this pair of shoes in a category all it's own.

We will be releasing these at 11am, Saturday March 15th! First come, first served. NO CAMPING PLEASE. ONE PAIR PER PERSON. We only received sizes 9 through 11, with doubles of select sizes.

Valentine's Day Quick Strike

by Steph McGilvra on February 13, 2014

Valentine's day is for lovers…..of shoes. At least if you are a Nike SB fan. This year Nike SB has produced a Valentine's Day themed shoe that isn't just a standard red and white dunk. Instead it features a white crackled leather upper with red suede and red ice outsole. The suede has a similar texturing to the MIAs from a few months back. It lends depth to the suede that doesn't stand out too much from a far, but as you take a closer look it's more apparent. We also received a limited number of marching Dri-Fit T Shirts. This cherub graphic is a personal favorite of ours! You can pick these up Friday Feb 14 at 11am. First come, first serve.

Details for the Nike SB x Diamond Supply Co. Dunk High Release

by Steph McGilvra on February 04, 2014

The much anticipated release of the Nike SB Dunk High Premium "Tiffany" will take place this Saturday. In an effort to give more people a chance to get a pair we have decided to do a raffle as opposed to first come, first served. It eliminates camping and allows more people a chance at the limited amount of shoes we have to sell. It also (and we think very importantly) gives us a chance to support a local charity in the process. Here's how we will work it:

First and foremost, all the proceeds from raffle ticket sales will go directly to the Boys and Girls club in Hillsboro. This is a great place that we feel does a lot of good for the local community, and it doesn't necessarily get the attention it deserves. We chose this charity because they offer a variety of programs, give kids a safe place to go after school and we especially like the fact that they offer a skate camp during the summer. Check out their website. Because we are donating these proceeds to the Boys and Girls Club we are requesting that you please bring cash for the raffle tickets.

  • Raffle tickets will be on sale at 9:45am until 10:45am, Saturday Feb 8th
  • Tickets are $3 each, Limit 2 tickets per person
  • One pair of shoes per person
We will also have a little bit of the matching apparel available for sale at the same time. Thanks for your time and attention. See you Saturday!
