Cali High Quick Strike + Fall Releases

by Steph McGilvra on September 08, 2014

We just got several shipments of shoes all at the same time. It's an unfortunate product of the dock worker strike happening down in California right now. Some of the shoes we received were intended to be here about 3 weeks ago. Never the less, they are finally here. If you have been looking for Quarter Snacks, Cali Highs, or some of the other fall offerings, now is the time to come in and check them out.

First up we have the Cali HIgh Quick Strike. These are a high top version of the Iconic Cali Dunk. It is patterned after the California state flag. It features super supple tumbled leather upper with brown suede side panels. The red outsole with green midsole pops nicely and the star on the strap is embroidered. Over all, the quality of these is really nice. We do also have the T-Shirts in 2 colors to match the shoes.

The Quarter Snacks Dunk is deceptively simple. On the surface, it appears to be a regular black/white dunk. But when you inspect if further you will find buttery pig suede, a stuffed rip-stop tongue, tumbled leather swoosh backed with silver reflective treated leather, a special embroidered 25 cent heel hit, heel tabs that say "quarter" on the right foot and "snacks" on the left.  It's finished off with custom insole art, and a special quarter snacks branded eyelet chain. The alternate laces are reflective silver! If you are unfamiliar with quarter snacks, check out their website. It's dedicated to skateboarding and New York skate culture.

September also offers a Dunk Low Pro in a really strong Obsidian/Crystal Mint-Gym Red color way. It features a suede upper with embosses leather swoosh, and stuffed tongue.

A new addition to Nike SB is the Koston Mid. This shoe is built on the successful Koston 1 model, but has the addition of a little height in the ankle to give you more protection. It still features a Lunarlon insole for impact protection and a cup sole for durability.

The kids might be back in school but summer is not over for the "Beach" themed Janoski. Khaki canvas upper with a print of beach umbrellas and people enjoying Beach activities. These make you want to take a vacation.

Last but not least we have the Janoski Max in black suede. This is first time they have done suede on this model and the sought after black/white color way make it a perfect every day shoe.

Whew. That's a lot for one update. I didn't even mention the fact that we have new longboards from Arbor, decks from Baker and Deathwish, new apparel from Brixton and RVCA or more wheels from Portland Wheel Company. Later this week we will also have more trucks from Independent, more Rails and a restock on Bones wheels and bearings. We've been busy, and we haven't even gotten our snow gear yet.
