This Portland coloray is constructed in Mother Earth tones to represent the most eco-friendly state in the USA and the homeland of Mister Tyler Bledsoe, Oregon. The sole is made of blue recycled rubber to represent the clean skies of Oregon, with recycled rubber green chips representing the redwoods and pines, which exhale all that nice O2 into the air we breathe. The heelpiece has a depiction of a stag...an animal that runs wild in the forests across Oregon, which sits underneath a tan suede upper. Tan is the color of the soil.
The "Enjoy Oregon" tongue is a tribute to the sign which greets all those entering downtown Portland by the Burnside bridge. The insole has photosfrom a road trip taken from my house in Los Angeles to Tyler's in Portland during September 2009. The Portland is available only in Skate Shops.
